Description
Echinops Blue Globe is an excellent rebloomer, producing abundant dark violet-blue flowers on gracefully curving, silvery stems. The steel blue globe-shaped flowers bloom from mid-summer to early fall, rising above sharply divided dark green leaves with a downy texture. Despite their appearance, the flowers are not as prickly as they seem. This low-maintenance perennial adds outstanding contrast, interest, and colour to the summer garden and is great for cutting, with multiple flowering periods in a season.
