Description
Meet the charming relative of Allium Bulgaricum: 'Allium Tripedale' a native of the Mediterranean with a delicate yet substantial presence. Picture its lovely 10 cm wide umbels, each adorned with 20 to 30 pendant, bell-shaped florets in a soft rose-pink hue, accented by striking fuchsia starbursts. These floral umbrellas gracefully emerge from papery sheaths, their little nodding buds slowly unfurling. As they ascend, the blooms reveal their intricate green eyes adorned with anthers. While its ground-level foliage tends to brown before flowering, fear not—this plant is resilient against rabbits, rodents, and deer. Just like its cousin, Allium Bulgaricum, Allium Tripedale thrives in well-drained soil and full sunlight. And here's a pro tip: for those gorgeous pink hues to truly shine, make sure to give it plenty of sunlight; otherwise, you might find yourself admiring more white blooms than pink ones.
