Description

Dahlia ‘Myama Fubuki’ is a refined fimbriata dahlia known for its soft, fringed blooms and elegant, light-filled presence in the garden. It produces large, fully double flowers in creamy white, often with the faintest hint of pale yellow at the centre as they mature. What sets this variety apart is its finely divided petal edges. The fimbriata form creates a gently frilled, almost feathered texture that gives the blooms movement and softness, preventing them from ever appearing too formal or heavy. Each flower typically measures around 12–15 cm across and is held on strong, upright stems that perform reliably throughout the season.

Plants grow to approximately 90–120 cm tall and produce a steady succession of blooms from midsummer until the first frost, especially when regularly cut and deadheaded. Early staking is recommended to support the plant as it develops and to maintain a clean, upright habit. In the garden, Dahlia ‘Myama Fubuki’ works beautifully as a bright focal point or as a softening element within mixed borders. Its pale colouring reflects light well and pairs effortlessly with blush pinks, soft apricots, creams, and pastel planting schemes. It is especially effective in romantic, wedding-style gardens or more understated, elegant designs.

As a cut flower, it is highly dependable. The strong stems, long vase life, and versatile white colouring make it a staple for florists and home arrangements alike. It adds volume and texture without overwhelming other flowers, blending seamlessly into both bold and delicate compositions.

For best results, plant tubers in spring once the risk of frost has passed in a sunny, well-drained position with fertile soil. Allow enough space for branching and support growth early in the season for best results.

A clean, elegant white fimbriata dahlia that brings softness, structure, and luminous garden presence.
