Dahlia Glossy Maracana

Dahlia ‘Glossy Maracana’ is a richly coloured decorative dahlia with luminous blooms that bring warmth and depth to the late-summer garden. The flowers blend shades of deep pink, raspberry, and warm red, often highlighted with lighter tones that create an almost glossy finish when caught by the sunlight. Blooms typically reach 12–15 cm across and are formed from beautifully layered, slightly curved petals that create a soft, rounded shape with excellent depth and texture. The colour remains vibrant throughout the flowering season, making this variety especially eye-catching in borders and cutting gardens.

Plants grow to around 90–110 cm tall and produce sturdy, upright stems that support the flowers well. Flowering begins in midsummer and continues generously until the first frosts, particularly when blooms are picked regularly. In the garden, Dahlia ‘Glossy Maracana’ pairs beautifully with warm planting schemes featuring oranges, corals, burgundy foliage, and rich autumn tones.
