Description
Dahlia ‘Polka’ features an anemone-flower form with creamy-white outer petals edged in fine, deep pink, surrounding a central powder-puff of yellow-gold florets. The flowers are approximately 10 cm across, carried on strong upright stems, and the plant reaches about 90-100 cm tall with a spread of 30-50 cm.
Blooming from mid-summer until the first frosts, ‘Polka’ is excellent for garden borders, containers and cut flower use, adding a striking contrast next to deeper or bolder blooms thanks to its soft tones. Its foliage is mid-green, and overall habit is clump-forming and upright.
