Description
Dahlia Aiyana is a vibrant fimbriata dahlia known for its richly layered flowers and beautifully textured petals. The semi-fringed blooms combine shades of coral red, warm salmon, soft orange, and deep rose, with darker petal tips adding extra depth and contrast across the flower. The finely split petals give the blooms a lighter, more animated appearance than traditional decorative dahlias, creating movement both in borders and floral arrangements. Flower size typically reaches around 10–15 cm across, carried on strong stems above lush green foliage.
Flowering continuously from midsummer until the first autumn frosts, Dahlia ‘Aiyana’ brings long-lasting colour and warmth to sunny borders, cutting gardens, and patio containers. The changing tones within each bloom become especially striking in evening light, where the coral and copper shades appear to glow. Growing to approximately 100 cm tall, this variety combines strong garden performance with excellent cut flower quality. Regular deadheading encourages a constant succession of blooms throughout the season.
Plant tubers in spring in fertile, well-drained soil and a sunny position for the best flowering display.
Planting information

- Depth is measurement of space between the soil line and top of bulb or bare root.
- Set the bulbs or bare root in place, pointed side or sprout side upward.
- Cover the bulbs by replacing the soil and water thoroughly.
