Begonia boliviensis Santa Barbara was introduced for sale in 2019. It was created by Michael Simcox, the same hybridizer who created Begonia boliviensis San Francisco.
Santa Barbara is a relatively easy begonia to grow. It prefers bright, indirect sunlight and moist, well-drained soil. It is relatively cold-tolerant and can be grown outdoors in mild climates.
